Really wonderful old style builders merchants. There sell virtually everything and if they haven't got it they can usually get it. Not the tidiest place but great value and good products. It's like walking into an Aladdin's cave. Please don't change

A family style of business. So helpful and knowledgeable. A business that is revolving around supplying what you want and not about selling you a pack that is more than you want. Wood cut to size and quickly delivered.

I've been a customer here for over 25 years , I would not shop for timber anywhere else . Fantastic family run ,abd very polite and friendly staff.

Absolutely rude, terrible service. Got a 1/2 ton of sand delivered to our house, no knock, no ring, sand dumped in the driveway. After speaking to the manager he grilled us about "what we were doing to miss 2 deliveries"; first of all that's just rude, and second if you don't inform us the delivery is here, then we won't know it's here or where we want it stored! He then hangs up on us, we call again to the woman who took our order yesterday, who claims "we told you the sand comes loose". I don't know if this is just a trade thing they expect everyone to know; but me, my partner, and my Dad (former carpenter) all know this woman did NOT say the sand comes loose. If they had just apologized for what happened and/or if there was a misunderstanding then I wouldn't have to write this review, but they had my phone number, and the manager himself was just absolutely unacceptable. End of day, service was rude, intrusive, and if you're a domestic household looking for materials for a home project, my advice is go elsewhere. Because we won't be coming here again.
